Robbie, would you mind email me the specifics of what parts you used, how you went about doing the duals etc. Im trying to scrape up enough money to do this soon.

Thanks!

Seems like everyone is going to this setup. Doesn't it drone like a **** at certain rpms? When I say drone, I mean like a low bass type noise that shakes everything in the car (at or around 1500rpms interstate cruising speeds).

Yea it does drone and low bass is it. Its only at a certain rpm though, i've already learned how to drive without the drone. I flipped out when i left the muffler shop. Its a totally different sound. I've never heard one like it because the videos i've seen dont do it justice.

I ordered 4-45 degree mandrel bends from JCwhitney.com for like $14-$20 each to make the s bend for each header, then some 3in to 2.5in collectors with aluminum dead soft gaskets, 2 12in bullet mufflers, and some chrome turndowns that were kinda rusted so were given to me. The guy at the muffler shop charged me $70 to weld and tuck it all up. Probably adds up to about $300 or so. Its not even near the fuel lines like was expected cause of where he routed them. He didnt have to add any other piping than what i had btw.

They work fine for me Hard to tell how long it'll take before the bandwidth for your Geocities page is exceeded though. If that happens just hit me up w/ a PM and I'll mirror them for ya.

Sounds great BTW! Sounds pretty damn sweet inside the car, I'm sure it sounds even better in person. Hard to get the real feel for it with the mic from a camera.

Are those CATS right before the turn downs? Is there any type of muffler? How does the sound compare to a cutout on a pretty much stock exhaust? Is there anything holding them in place or are they just sitting on that whats-you-call-it?

Thanks Mystic.

DjArcadian

Those are Dynomax bullet mufflers. As compared to my cutout. You can kinda see the difference by listening to my old soundclips in my sig and listening to the new ones with true duals. With the cutout the rev and engine tone winds out and gets high pitched. With the true duals its stays a deep rumble all through the rev. Like everyone else has said, the videos dont do them justice. But you can tell the tone difference in the vids.
