security light on with no resistor key
 

hey you guys got hows the day treating you guys so far , well basically my car somethimes not all the time my security light comes on and it wont let me start the vehicle now i unplugged a relay and the light goes out in about 30sec instead of 3 mins and the car starts right up what could be causing this

What relay? Not enough info.

under dash relay just hanging right below the u bracket under steering wheel im not sure the type of relay

Without any more info, it could be something aftermarket. There should not be any stock relay hanging there.

it wasnt hanging i think it was bolted to something bc it has a metal bracket attached to it

Go to Shoebox's site and review the photos of the underdash relays and devices. See if any one of them matches what you removed.. This just one example..... there are more photos available:
