s-10 or corvette TC's

Anybody using one of these? I've heard about people using them. I've got a few questions.

Does anyone know the stall of each?
How much are they new/used?
How reliable are they?
A good place to get them?

Netgearhead sells the S-10 converters for $154.

I'll toss in my 2 bits while I'm here - I don't think the converter will be worth the effort required to order it, much less that needed to actually install it (unless you're in a bind).

the stall speeds are too low to make a diff.

you want at LEAST a 2400 more like a 2800 or 3000

I'm just thinking that I can pick one up either new that someone doesn't need anymore or a low low milege used one for $75-125 and install it myself. Then 50 bux for the tranny cooler of course. Then put the other $500-600 or so that the difference is between a vette or s-10 stall and a vig or yank and get a cam kit from cm motorsports.

I had a tci in my camaro, and it took the tranny out. I'm looking for something more durable. Thats why I am trying to find out how reliable the s-10 and vette converters are compared to others.

Ohh Smokn '94 Z, how much shipped to 66053?

LT1dave.com sells the s10 convertors, but as them restalled. I think he has 2800 and 3000 or something. Check the website, cheap too.

I have an LT1 in my '98 S-10 and I used the TC out of a Syclone/Typhoon. They have a better stall and have hardened internals. So look into one of those. It feels much better than the stocker.
