I am about to install a cc306 cam and pick up a set of heads from a buddy that are heavily ported and have 918 springs on them already. The cam is pushing somewhere around .544 lift. My question is he said that the springs are good to like .600 lift and that with the 1.6's I would be getting like .580 lift and that would be pushing the limits and that I would have to worry about coil bind. He suggested that I just got a set of good 1.5 rollers and keep the advertised .544. Should I just get the 1.5's or maybe even get some new springs and get the 1.6's??? I know there are alot of guys running the cc306 and I would like your advice. Thanks in advance.
