Rocker help needed FAST!!!!!!!!

Are these going to work with my LT1 heads?
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...N=115&x=34&y=6

I ordered them through my local shop because I saw somewhere they would but according to summit they only work on motors up to 1986. Do they state this just because they are NSA rockers?

your link doesnt work,, but you need self aligning rockers for stock lt1 heads,, in order to use non self alinging rockers you need to convert over to guide plates and hardened pushrods

so with guideplates these will work right? That is why they are stated not to fit the newer heads because they are NSA?

If you cut out the supports inside the valve cover. You can fit the wide ones just fine.. I did this aswell for my Comp Pro Mag NSA rockers..

I'd be a little leary about buying those. A person I knew from another board bought something similar to those (NSA) and because the rocker body was so huge they bottomed out on the hex part of the studs, pulled two studs out of the heads, all the rockers were gouged where it made contact on the studs, bent the pushrods from the two studs that were pulled out and most of the other pushrods were eaten from being pushed into the guideplates. He didn't know a whole lot and had a shop install them who of course didn't know WTF they were doing.
If you are going to go with those make sure to check the rocker body to stud clearence.

Sounds like a combination of the wrongs parts.. And shop that didn't know what they were doing like you said.. Any small block chevy rocker will work, just refer to my post above about cutting the vavle cover supports.
