rocker arms??
Does the lt1 use the standerd or different rollar rocker then a regular 350 or is it the same. Also valve spring same or different???? Looking though a summit or jegs you some time see lt1 rollar rocker then some time you dont see any listing. woundering if it just a money maker or do the really have a different setup?

The LT1 requires that you use self-aligning rockers (unless you modify the heads to use screw in studs and guideplates).

Aluminum head LT1's do not require any modification to use screw in studs. If you decide to use NSA (non-self aligning) rockers, you will have to use guideplates as mentioned above, but the stock rocker arm studs are screw-in type. ARP makes longer (for the guideplates) replacement screw-in type studs specifically for our application.
If you go to Thunder Racing's site and search by vehicle, you can see all of the specific stuff available for the LT1. I just swapped out my rockers a couple of weeks ago. |

If you are thinking of aluminum roller rockers, you need to get a model designated to use with center bolt valve covers, they are narrower than the rockers made for perimeter bolt covers.
