Rino Ramps

Will these ramps fit under my 95 and 99? Any opinions from people that use/used them?

My car = lowered + ground effects.

Only takes a few 2x4 to get my car onto them. If no ground effects, should go on easily.

got mine for 20 bucks from pep boys, they are great, only thing is those rubber thingies on the bottom of them to prevent from slipping wears off in a bit.

but they get the car on fine, without any problems.

Autozone has them as well. They are great ramps...lightweight, wide and low enough for our cars.

I use on my 1" lowered 94 Z and a 02 Vette without any problems, although the plastic spoilers on the vette scrape a little going up. I understand a length of 2x8 in front of the ramps can cure that. For the price, they are excellent.

I second that ! I have a really hard time getting on them with the front wheels , one of them allways ends up jumping forward . Backing up them is easy. all in all they work great .

A length of rope long enough to go past the rear tires will solve the ramp slippage problem. You just have to spend a little extra time lining things up before you drive up on them.

Just tie the rope through the hole in the center where you initially drive up on the ramp, then extend it out so that when the front tires are about to go up on the ramps, the rear tires are on the rope. That will anchor them when the front starts going up.

I've used them for years on my car, bought a set right after I got the car. They are nice and light weight and work pretty well. Except for the fact that people mentioned about them kicking out sometimes on a smooth garage floor when pulling up on them, that's a little annoying. That just got me thinking, I may add some additional rubber material to the bottom off them to stop them from kicking out, that little rubber pad just doesnt do it. I had just been using 2x4's in front of them up against the bottom of the wall to keep them in place but that doesnt always work. That's my only complaint with them.

I'm amazed at how many people are exclaining how wonderful these ramps are, yet talking about how they slide out across the floor when you try to drive up them.

It just seems oxymoronic to say "These are great! But they don't work very well some of the time."

I have a set of the steel yellow ramps and a set of the low clearance wedges for them. It ran me about $35 for both sets of pieces at K-Mart.

They haven't moved once when going up or down them.

I think the $30 rhino ramps at WalMart might have a higher weight rating. The $20 ramps are like 6000 lb capacity and I think I remember my Rhino ramps from WalMart being rated higher.
I like them because they are lighter than steel and easy to store and handle but they can slide on smooth concrete, same as steel. But what are these clearance wedges? Maybe they help the ramps not slide?
