rich exhaust smell inside car at idle, INjuneer, Shoebox...Someone!!

I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue for some time now. I have a very rich exhaust smell inside the car at idle that I am not able to pinpoint the cause of. I do not have any exhaust leaks, and my shifter boot is well sealed. No holes in the firewall or anything along those lines...

I have been looking at searches talking about the EVAP system.. I thought that maybe there may be an issue with my EVAP canister, selanoid?

I also have an odd idling issue just after coming to a stop. WHen I come to a stop after driving the car for a bit, the car tends to idle high, and then slowly come back to normal idle. I have not been able to find any vaccum leaks. I have equated that a possible EVAP system issue may be letting mixture from a saturated cansiter into the manifold, as well as causing the oder inside the vehicle? It smells more like a really rich exhaust than raw fuel in side the car... Can someone make some suggestions?

Here's a dumb question, do the tail pipes extend past the rear bumper?

I told you it was dumb.

Have you monitored the fuel pressure after the engine was shut off?

Is it "exhaust" or is it a "fuel" smell"?

Calling out specific screen names in the "topic" isn't really a good idea.... I think it really turns off others who might be able to help, but choose to ignore your post because you have called out specific people. There are a lot of really knowledgable people here.
