retarding cams
 
if i retard my cam with an offset crank keyway can that be corrected in the computer or no? thanks

To answer the question, yes, pcm software can be 'edited' to correct the altered ignition timing. The altered injector timing will not be corrected with available software editing tools available.

A question of my own; why would you even consider retarding the cam timing? Any possible limited upper RPM gain will be more than offset by loss in mid and low RPM ranges. If indeed the cam is presently timed per recommended or OEM specs, retarding from that point, will result in loss of usable torque/power. If I were to error in either direction when 'degreeing' a cam, it would be to error on the side of additional degree or so, of advance.

BTW, I'm referring to crank degrees here, not cam degrees.
