resistor to replace low oil level sensor

currently building a 383 with a moroso oil pan. the pan does not have a bung for the low oil level sensor. does anyone know what resistor i could put across the wires to keep the light off on the dash?

thanks

unplug it, if the light is on, cross the wires, no resistor, it is just a on/off switch

Is there any way to have a bung installed?
If it's not too much of a pain, I'd try to keep the sensor for peice of mind.

All you need to do is cut the plug off and join the wires together.
