I am far from an expert on the subject. You shoult try air bags on the rear.they only cost about $60.00.Also remove your front sway bar.

From what I've heard, relocation brackets are almost a must for a lowered car that wants to hook well.......

It's all about weight transfer. You lowered your car and you put much stiffer springs on the back, and they are not going to give near as much as the looser stock ones. Short of putting an ET street or slick on, your choices are pretty limited. There's a definite line we walk between handling and straight line performance, and lowering the car puts you well on the handling side. This is the only thing that has kept me from lowering my car because i think they look awesome lowered. Only thing I can think of is trying a full suspension. Subframes, control arms and reloacation brackets, torque arm and panhard is a good start.

Spend some money on good tires. They make all the difference in the world. I just put BFG KDW in place of the Mich I was running and they are very good tires esp since they were cheaper than the Michs. I believe the largest you can go on the stock 16 at plus zero size is 255/50/16.

I'm not an expert here, but this is what i'm thinking. Lowering springs are made stiffer because they have to give less. ANY lowering spring is going to sacrifice launch and weight transfer. The whole idea of them is to degrade weight transfer for less body roll in turns. The extra half inch may make a very small difference, but i don't think it would be worth it. your stance may end up a little funny looking. You said you are getting bigger tires in the back already, so that would rake your stance even more, which you may, but probably will not like. IMO, keep the springs on there. I'm sure it looks sweet as hell, and i don't think a quarter mile can beat the rush of taking turns at 120, and whipping all your friends' asses through the curves. Just try some stickier tires and better suspension equipment. They make a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference in traction.

Try unhooking one end of your front sway bar when you are at the track. Get some ET Streets for the back. Try that and see if things improve. If not you will need to spend some more money but keep it simple at first.

FYI: I still have the stock torque arm and my sixty foot times are in the high 1.5's and low 1.6's.

yea but did you lower your car? cus someone told me that with it lowered if i got an adjustable and set it at -3* pinion angle i would be alot better off, cus not only did i change the position of the control arms when i lowered it but i changed the pinion angle one the factory torque arm.
