I currently have a 94 lt1 camaro m6. With all the bolt ons, 4:10 gears and the lt4 hot cam. I'm thinking about getting another cam and tossing the stock heads. I'm looking for something more aggressive something that sounds really really mean. My goal is to hit mid to low 11's with just a camshaft and head swap is it possible. Anybody have recommendations on what I should get. The car I want streetable for everyday driving in the summer time. - Anybody

 

Personally i like the GM 847 or comp cams 236/242.

Or you could talk to combination motorsports(advertiser on this board) and they can help you decide on what cam, or even a custom grind.

i have one for sell that would work good with stock heads and alot better with ported if you ever choose to.

The power, and $$$, will be in the heads. With a properly matched cam and other complimentary components (including traction enhancing), will be key to attaining 11's N/A.

IMO, I'd talk with one of the head guru's and engine builders on this board, get the heads professionally done with a matching camshaft.

No offense to anybody, but selecting a heads/cam combo on popular opinion is not the way to go - at least it's not if you want to go fast. My $0.02.

 

by the way that cam is one that loyd eliot sells with his heads, so if you get him to do your heads youll have his cam
