Rattling CAT?

Anyone know what causes the rattling when your CAT is about to die? Mine appears to be doing this now (opti didnt fix my problem )

ive had rattling cats for so long now i can no longer hear it....but to answer your question, i beleive it is the porcelin inside all broken up that causes the rattling

yeah before I gutted mine, it was rattling pretty bad. After removing my I-pipe, I could move some peices around, one broke, and starting it up, a few chunks blew out before I started slamming my crow bar in there.

i 3rd that. mine did the same thing, cuz it's busts rather easily (especially if u already had half of it gutted) if u bump it on a speed bump or anything. i just gutted the res of mine. better sound, no rattle
