Random Catz.....

Who got Random catz?? How do you like them? I got some loud exhaust (SLP's, no catz, flowmaster exhaust) and want to quiet them down.

I have one, and it does it's job. Haven't emissions tested it or anything because I know I won't pass with my setup, but I needed it there in case I get stopped.

I don't really know how much it quiets the exhaust down though. My car is still pretty loud with it.

I've got one. I've had it for a while, and I keep breaking the weld right by where I bolt it on in the back. When I first put it on, I went from passing emissions with flying colors to barley passing at all. This year, I didn't bother fixing the weld and and had it tested anyway. The guy running the sniffer knew that most of the exaust was coming out at the end of the cat before it got to the I pipe, but he shrugged and still put the sniffer in the tail pipe. Cleanest running Camaro ever.

The sound is fine, it was a good bit smoother than when I was running sans cat, but also not as loud. Right now I'm running the SLPs into the Cat with nothing else, it really aint bad. A little redneckish, but not that bad.

Redneckish is a word.
