I have everything dissconnected, but what from there? How does that little black plastic piece come off?

The fans are already removed.

The radiator is a pretty big pain in the *** to remove for what it is...... What else would you expect though

Anyhoo, when you have the fans and fan shroud off, black plastic top cover(piece that has your emmissions/fan routing stickers on it), hoses, tranny cooler lines(if auto) and your coolant level sensor unplugged you're ready to do some yanking and cussing!!

First off, the radiator is not really bolted to anything. If you look down the front side of the radiator you will see that the A/C condensor slides into some tabs on the radiator. This is one way that the radiator is held in place, by the A/C condensor. Otherwise the bottom of the radiator sits in a metal channel underneath it.

To remove lift up on the A/C condensor and when it clears the tabs on the radiator push it towards the front of the vehicle. Once ALL FOUR tabs are clear you can start wiggling the radiator up and out. Be careful with the tabs, it's only plastic and I have had one break before!

Yea the only thing I could see it was connected to was the A/C condensor.

I guess I'll start cussing now.

Thanks.

I just removed my radiator a couple of days ago. I had to take out the radiator and condensor together. Make sure the small lines on the passanger side are removed. Once I disconnected mine I just pulled my radiator out. Pull up on the radiator and get it off the bottom support tray. Once everything is unhooked push the radiator up from the bottom of the car. Once you push it up have a friend on the top of the car pull it out. You will be surprized at how much room there is once the condensor and radiator is removed. Have fun.

All is out and there is a ton of room. Bad news is I'll need a new A/C condensor.

Loosen the bracket holding the AC dryer also......that will make it easier to lift up the ac condensor. Getting the radiator out isnt to bad but it was a biatch tho get back in.

You can come over tomorrow

I twisted the pipe at the bottom, because it wouldn't disconnect. I was hoping it unscrewed like the top but nope. Otherwise it's fine.

Here it is...

Yea I was basically tired of messing with it and went to home on it and cut the rubber hose.

Jared, I don't know if I'm gonna get to the cam today. I still gotta take the intake off and w/p and opti. Maybe end up taking the stock one out tonight. Where did you get your Cloyes timing chain at and what assembly lube should I pick up tonight?
