Setting up a tune with Ion. I've heard that the "Increase Shift Firmness" option ups the pressure and causes the tranny to run to hot, leading to its destruction. But I don't know if thats true or not or something. So can someone explain it for me? Thanks.

I just want to know if its going to hurt it or not, because I've heard that upping the pressure can make the tranny last longer too.
