Quick question!
 

I had my motor built a motor shop local.after it was done i put it in my garage to put some other stuff on to it.i then ordered heads 2 weeks after that.i since then torqued the heads down to the block.i went to the motor shop before and the guy said that i should check to see if the valve hits the piston.do i really have to take the heads off and do that or am i fine?

If there is anything non-standard about it, piston to valve clearance should be checked.
