Quick Pacesetter LT header question

Is the first bolt hole on #2 cylinder used?

Here's why I ask.

That's the only bolt that broke. If it's not a used hole then I'll just leave it be.

Thanks

Re: Quick Pacesetter LT header question

i think this is right...The first hole is used by the stock manifolds and it's used for a alternator mounting bracket. Aftermarket headers use the 2nd hole and on.

I must have my cylinder numbers mixed. This is on the drivers side head.

I believe the headers will just use the 2nd hole on.

You should be fine. I think I broke the same one when I did mine. Just line your new gaskets up and see, that way you'll know for sure.
