quick lifter question

quick lifter question

quick question, anyone know off hand if the lifters can be removed/installed while the ehads are still on the car? not sure on this and am curious as to if they can be installed/or removed while heads still on car.

No, the heads do not need to be removed to service the lifters.

only the intake needs to be removed, alonng with the pushrods, and the spider looking thing holding the lifters.

Yea just remove the intake manifold, rocker arms and pushrods. Then the lifter spider comes out and your lifters are ready to be taken out. Dont forget to put a good amount of hi temp rtv sealant on that rear block wall when you put your manifold back on so you wont have an oil leak down the road.

ok thanks. i am putting my heads on tonight, and havent recieved the lifters yet. i wanted to at least get the cylinder heads on and halfway seal the motor, but wasnt sure if i needed to wait on the lifters or not.
