quick auto trans. removal question
If you have the bellhousing bolt that holds the dipstick in then you should be able to pull it right out.
The tranny lines will probably have to wait until you get the crossmember out and can lower the tranny a bit so you can get your hand in there.

Drop it as far as you have too.
I had a friend helping me and he kept letting it down more and more and we heard this crunching sound (the sending unit breaking) and he said no its fine just let it down, so you be the judge but you have to get those lines off or the tranny won,t come out. We used a combination of a line wrench and regular open end.
