I've been researching parts and such for a header upgrade. I have a question though. Y-pipes come with or w/out cats in them, but are usually quite a bit more expensive then the ORY itself. Is it possible to get/make an ORY pipe, then weld in a sing cat? Would this be cheaper? What are your thoughts?

usually (90%) they are with out cats, and the brands with cats (IE:MAC full length) dont offer as good performance as lets say a set of pacesetter long tubes with a ORY pipe or AS&M headers bolted to Random tech Dual cat Y pipe... which can get expensive... it all depends what you want to get out of them...

and with that said, if you can find a shop that will do it it should be cheaper... but the cost of the cat may be your problem...
