That's almost my exact combo, only I'm a 383. I went 12.6 at 4200 ft. with a DA of over 7k, so I think mid 12's is almost assured for you at a decent track. Got any dyno numbers?

Man I Pissed, I went to the track and Couldnt get any better then a 13.40. It was hot out today and the track is at 6200 level. I never spun the tires leaving the hole. I was running E/T streets and it hooked up great. I was stalling it to 2000 rpms before the light dropped. Think a dyno tune would help? It has to be something with the tune thats holding the motor back. I would think this car should be alot faster as my brother ran at the same track with a 94 camaro last year. He ran a 13.35 and his car is stock except for a MAF and 3.73 gears. Any ideas? Do you think long tubes would help it some??

Hey Evil... US41 is like 620' not 6200'... Sorry about your bad luck today. It did get quite warm today. However I think you have some issues there. You should have been running mid 12's in my opinion... Do you have headers? What was your trap speeds? What kind of 60' times? I was running consistant 12.30 - 12.39 runs last year at that track with Hot Cam & Stock Heads on a stock short block. Does the car feel sluggish? I can tell from day to day when my car is running even just .3 tenths slower or faster by the seat of the pants.

The time was with 0 to 60 was 1.8 and speed of 103. Sorry about the 6200. I hit one to many zero's. I Do not have headers, Just ported Exhaust Maniflods. Just thought it would have run better. Any Ideas? Should I go get a dyno tune? I think the computer needs a better tune.

Ok, my advice is get some good longtubes, and the a dyno tune. If anything is wrong, and the puter is pulling timing, it is really killing your HP. I've seen a single degree of timing make as much as 23 RWHP difference on a dyno. When you consider the computer's ability to pull up to 4 degree's, that equates to nearly 100 HP worth of loss due to timing/tune.

My car trapped at 118 with a 6 speed at 3,000 feet with a semi-pro driver. You should crack 110 pretty easily with everything working right.
