While I have heard of problems with using the B&M Shift Plus constantly on the firmest setting, I have yet to hear of anybody attribute tranny problems to the HPP shift firmness option. I ran with the shift firmness option on my car for quite a while with no issues.

Just keep in mind that you don't want to run with this option selected if you have a mechanical type shift kit like the Trans Go.

Don't think the HPP programming is going to hurt anything. It does not appear to be overly aggressive.

I use it with a local shop shift kit. and I dont think mine is too aggressive. It always shifts great for me. nice 2nd gear chips @3/4
What would be too aggressive?
