Power Steering Pump toasted...ideas?
 

I toasted my Power Steering pump on a road course this weekend.

Now who can give me the details on what I need to do to avoid this problem again at the track. (Road Course)?

First thoughts is to install an underdrive pulley since the car is going to see high RPM's. Is there an upgraded pump out there that I should be installing? Power Steering fluid cooler? Help me with this problem.

I would suggest putting in a power steering fluid cooler. Basically you'll just want to install one of the smaller trans oil coolers for your pwer steering. I'm sure some people on here can give you more thorough info on it, though.
