Power Programmer Plus

Is the power programmer plus really worth $330? Does it make that much of a difference??

It should be called the HyperCRAP!!! The only thing that POS is good for is to recalibrate you computer for a gear change. Other than that it is worthless.

The programming for performance is not that great and mostly only useful on a pretty much stock car.

It is useful for fan reprogramming, shift firmness and shift points (to a degree), gear ratio change and maybe another thing or two. It is not a good investment to buy a new one, when there are used ones out there for half the price or less. Just make sure that if you buy a used one, the programming has been removed from whatever car it was used on. It can only be used on one car at a time.

A laptop, cable and some programming software is the best value if you already have the laptop (or even desktop computer that can reach to your car).

The HPP has it's place, based on a person's particular needs. It's just that other solutions have made it less attractive.

If i were you, i'd get mail order-custom programming through www.madz28.com or www.pcmforless.com

Both are WAY cheaper. Check them out.
