Possible to get fuel lines wrong?

Is it possible to get the fuel lines reversed at the back of the intake, or are they different sizes?

I really need to know.

The stock lines for supply and return are different sizes... the larger one is the supply line. I don't think the connectors would hook up if you reversed them. But if you forced them... who knows?
