plug change from the top

hey guys imma help you all out. the one tool that i used the most was a stubby 11/16 ratchet wrench. I used it in combination with a 5/8 plug socket. like i said i did all 8 of them from the top and i have big arms not lil chicken arms so it can be done. hurt like hell but can be done. routing the wires was a pita. #2 and #8 took forever, but just be patient and use the above combo and it will come out.
later

With my MACs I can change all 8 out in about 20 min from the top with a regular ol' plug socket and ratchet. With the manifolds I just used a 1/4" ratchet, a few extensions, and a swivel joint <----this should be in every shop out there as it has saved me a LOT of grief while working on my vehicles.

GET HEADERS ASAP!!!

No, really, here's some more if it makes you feel better. It's SOOOO EEEASY now that I have......well, you know lol

During my header install (when fooling with that damn dipstick tube) I discovered a few new words I never thought existed. But let's face it, nothing is more satisfying than tinkering with a good ol' American small block V8. Even at the expense of a little blood and sweat.

From: Kansas City suburb of
Blood, Sweat, Profanity, and that tool Kip used in Gone in 60 seconds.
Seriously, I too get pretty scratched up doin plugs but its not that bad now that I have no AC and I just removed the AIR pump today and man even more room in there.
I highly recommend if you hate doin plugs and wires make it easy on yourself and remove the AIR pump and Air Conditioning
