Which pilot bushing? The solid , or the one with bearings in the center
I went to get a pilot bushing today ,and it has bearings in the center. I looked at my old one , and it is solid in the center. Is one better than the other? Thanks.
I have used both without noticing any difference in performance. I haven't had either of them in place for that many miles (20K max each) so I don't know the longevity of either.
Went with a solid bushing this time around again just because I didn't find any difference with the roller bearing last time it was in.

Thanks alot fellas! Now that some of you mention it, I seem to recall a few people saying the roller ones "disintigrated" on them.
Thanks.

I can vouch for the roller ones disintegrating. Thats what happened to mine. Because of that it tore up the input shaft on my tranny. That part alone is $300. I got out of it quite a bit cheaper though.
My thought - more pieces.....more pieces to go bad
