persistent ignition problem, been working on it for weeks

here's the run down, the car is a 94 firebird M6 LT1 misses badly above 4000 rpms and seems down on power lower in the rpm range. Problem has been getting progressively worse over time. The idle varies by a few hundred rpm while it's trying to idle as well and the problem exist in closed loop and open loop

It has new plugs gapped at .050 Autolite 104s

Taylor OVC wires that appear to be fine, one year old

an opti that is two years old with maybe 8000 miles on it

new ignition coil wire

New blaster coil

Ignition module is off of a 70,000 mile engine, when I swapped them the problem didn't change

the fuel pressure regulator is new as well

No SES light is being thrown either

took opti off yesterday after the problem got so bad the car wouldn't even run for more than about 5 seconds, start right up but would die, opti had oil all over the inside, the rotor was tarnished heavily as were 6 of the 8 contacts, fixed oil leaks, cleaned up pick ups and the rotor, cleaned out all of the oil from the opti, car runs better, but still not right

cam is 224/236 on a 114, gasket matched heads and intake 1.6 roller rockers, TPIS longtube headers just your typical head and cam car with exhaust
