Just finished up my pacesetter long tube install with a friend ,it about killed u s lol ....my question is on the back side of the passenger header theres like extra flange or something that hooks to the car we could not get it to line up so we gave up for the night does anyone know what this is?

yeah, same thing, did you get them coated or non?

 

They sound great! i felt a big difference,the thing i was talking about does have something to do with the egr or air pump? I'm also getting service engine soon light? thanks

 

Is it the egr pipe out back of the intake.

 

Its got to be for the egr tube.

 

Since you got your question answered (this is kinda off the subject), how was the install? Did the headers fit well, are they well made, how much of a difference did you feel?

 

Well the manifolds were had to get off espically the passenger side..... the driver side header went in from the bottom alot of wiggling... the passenger side was a PITA!.... had to take off alternator,starter,valve cover and motor mount that i can remember it went in from the top had to use a pry bar wrapped in a towel to get it to fit properly... your looking at one day with manifolds and one day with the Headers..... Me and my friend started at 4pm and lasted to 1100 pm each day.... i felt a big difference in top end , im gonna test them out tonight me and my friend have about even top end with our cars before the headers
i'll see if I gain any on him..
