Options for dual-cats on Jet-Hot LT install?

I just bought a set of Jet-Hot LTs and I'm growing anxious to install them. All I have left is the y-pipe; I'm not going true duals because I'm picky about fit-n-finish and the over-the-axle issue. They don't check emissions in the state where I live, but I want to keep dual cats on my car anyway. Jet-Hot is slated to release their dual-cat y-pipe in late summer but I don't know if I can wait that long. I'm trying to decide what route I can take right now. I'm figuring on a y-pipe with 3" piping and dual cats. Which cat flows better, catco or random tech? Does anyone out there have a similar setup? If so, please let me know about your setup!

Thanks guys! :)

i have the same setup you want. dual cats with jethot LTs. one cat right after the passenger collector, the drivers side one on the bend of the y pipe.

I am actually taking them off in a few days, they are carsound, one of the best flowing on the market. 3" in/out about a foot long. make an offer if you want them. i think they cost 130 each brand new. i used em for 4 months.

Are you selling the whole y-pipe or just the cats? Why are you ditching them? Too much of a power loss?

just the cats. just takin em off cause im done with em. honestly no clue if you even lose power with them, cause i have never had the car dynoed.

You'll love your Jethots, don't waste your money on duals, not worth the expense from what I've heard. Good catback and custom 3" ypipe and a full 3" catback you'll get equal results as duals, now if you ever go to a stroker maybe consider duals or at least a big system like Mufflex 4", etc.

I don't have the JetHots, but I just had Mufflex build a 3" Y-pipe with dual 3" CarSound cats. Fortunately, I live 20 miuntes from Mufflex, but any good exhaust shop should be able to do the same work.

Mufflex 3" Y-pipe "under construction"
