Question Opti Q

I believe my Opti went out, but I'm not sure which part I need. The cap and rotor, or the distributor. I just purchased a cap and rotor kit, but need to be sure it is what I need. Thanks fror the help!

well if you are sure it's the opti and not plugs or wires replace the entire unit, don't go through all the work to just do a capn rotor. Autozone sells the entire unit now for about 150 bucks I think that's the cost. I got mine from GM for 300. 2-3 hours worth of work.

I'm pretty sure it's not the plugs or wires, since the car just wont even start anymore. Also, they say that I have to but them seperately, and the cap & rotor is $119.99, and the distributor is $129.99 or so. I'd just order a whole unit, but I need to do it right now.
If anyone has the part # then maybe they can look it up.

Why not buy it from Sam Taylor? Cost me less than $200 for a new vented opti.

Because I need to fix it today (I'm moving next weekend). I may have to bite the bullit, and leave the car down for a week. If I pull my stock opi apart, and I end up needing the whole thing, I'm going to be pissed.
