not sure what you mean ? but circled that pic is the connection for the coil wire
unless you mean you cant see it when everything is installed on the car?
find your coil on the front of the drivers side head follow the coil wire coming off it, it should go up and over the driver side of the water pump then down into the opti. it is a very tight fit in there and can be hard to see and get too with everything in the way

Re: opti plug?

ok then? with the opti installed on the car, that plug (the coil connection on the opti) should be at about the 1 o'clock position, just like the picture shows!
if i'm not answering your question, could you be more specific?!

Re: opti plug?

it connects to the coil pack that is mounted to the front of the drivers side head

if you are looking at you car from the front (dead center) look to the right at the drivers side head, there will be a coilpack sitting there with some ground wires and a ground strap and some electrical connections for the coil that is bolted down to the front of the head
it will have a little module behind it with some cooling fins on it.

Re: opti plug?

thanks to shoebox, he has a picture of what i am talking about
http://shbox.com/1/coil_loc.jpg

that red thing is the coil, the lower part of the red thing with the nipple is what the coil wire comes off of and connects the coil to the opti spark!

Re: opti plug?

thats simple, i thought it was that all along, but the damn thing wont attach to it, thats why i was so baffled. perhaps i need to push the boot up so the metal thing inside of it is further back?

Re: opti plug?
