so what is the last word on the opti.....which one should I buy and why. Still no joy on my earlier post...big miss, new wires and plugs, second set of wires....first set shorted and had to be replaced. Fouled plugs? Bad Opti? Still waiting.

 

Before you go buying anything do 2 things:

Pull the cap off the distributor

Grab a Summit catalog.

If you decide to buy an Accel, get it from JC Whitney. They are $200 instead of $300 like everyone else.

at the risk of seeming ignorant....you say pull off the cap, does that mean check the cap?....loose screws?.....replace cap and rotor? hoping to put the car in the shop next Tuesday, and I want to be prepared.
