Opti???

Cant decide what brand of opti's to go with on my new motor. I've narrowed my choices down to a GM opti or the accel opti. The MSD opti's are on crazy backorder and the Dynaspark is way expensive. what do you guys think?

Re: Opti???

IMO stay away from anything accel, except the dfi, i have never had luck with anyting they make. Also somthing seems odd that theres is only 200 bucks when msd's is 500-600.

Re: Opti???

Another question, Is there a difference between the GMPP opti and the OEM opti such as an ACdelco unit?

Re: Opti???

I spilled antifreeze on my Opti over the weekend, and now am facing the same problem. I removed my GM Opti this PM and it does not have any manufactures name or numbers on it. AC DELCO used to make all the electrical parts for GM. I probally go for the AC Delco since it is available for my 93Z for $488.00. There are rebuilts available from A-1 and Candone for $170.00 plus $50.00 deposit on the core. I do not know how good the "rebuilts" are. I hope someone responds to that question and soon!
