If you pull the intake and look at where the push rods makes contact to the lifter should it be press down in the lifter or on top in the groove. I currently have have 3ea that are press down in the lifter. Does this signify I have bad lifters. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

maybe the three you are talking about are the ones with open valves. check to see if the rockers are pushing down on the springs if the valve covers are off
