vacuum leak slowing me down?

I have a vacuum leak around my number 3 injector. It will be fixed tomorrow but was wondering how much of HP loss would something like that cause? I only ask because a mustang GT just spanked me.

Re: vaccum leak slowing me down?

well...i dont know an exact amount, but sounds like you lost somewhere around 50 hp if he's stock and you are too...and he wasnt a cobra.

the only mustang you'll have a problem with is the 03+ cobra. they tend to use a supercharger on those years and have some serious power . plus it doesnt help that anyone that has one of them usually swaps the headers/pullys/exhaust/intake on them and gets about another 100 hp out of it. they respond well to bolt ons

no i'm not stock, but I don't know about the GT. It just doesn't seem to pull as hard as it should and I know the leak is there. If thats going to rob me of some power i'll feel a little better about it.
