Elite hasn't had the greatest reputation for timeliness or customer service on this board. That being said, I have not bought from them....but when I asked whether to buy from Elite, some members posted they bought items in the spring and last winter and are just NOW getting them...

Just a friendly warning. Not meaning to bash, and everyone deserves a chance, but the backround couldn't hurt you...especially if you need them ASAP

Re: o2 sensors

I advise only to buy GM (AC Delco) 02 Sensors

Bosch's get alot of bad reviews and i heard Elite has crappy sparkplug wires..so i'd stick to GM pieces

Re: o2 sensors

the general consensus on this board is to go "AC delco or no go"

AC-Delco or Denso would be my recommendation. I would not buy the universal O2s shown in that auction. I would buy the correct AFS75 sensors.

Re: o2 sensors

I wouldn't go cheap on the 02 sensors, save up a little more if you have to. If you order from Elite, you may never get them. If you order from Ebay, they may not work.;)

Re: o2 sensors

What is wrong with your current O2 sensors? How do you know they need replaced?

Re: o2 sensors

there gone because of the lt headers when they were installed and i keep getting the code for them.

Re: o2 sensors

What code? Are you sure a wire didn't just burn through and is contacting a metal surface? What voltage are you seeing? Also, what happened with the LT's that ruined your both O2 sensors?

Re: o2 sensors

i heard that when you install the lts and start it up it messes up your o2 sensors but also they have 60k on them so im guessing there gone and i can tell when i floor it i hear the engine getting slightly flooded with fuel

Re: o2 sensors

The O2's only mess up sometimes with LT installs because of the initial burning off of the coating. You need to get a cable to hook to your car so you can see the voltage. Also, how can you "hear" the engine getting "slightly" flooded with fuel? WOT operation only uses the latest BLM that was used for part throttle. Other than that, WOT doesn't use the O2 sensors. If you're running rich at WOT, which they do from the factory, then you are not getting enough fuel at part throttle, for some reason. Make sure you cover all of your bases before you start throwing parts at it, unless you have the money to do that. I certainly don't.

Re: o2 sensors

Just this weekend my friends car had new o2's put in. Prior to the Acdelco's O2 sensors put he was having running rich problems consistantly. He didnt know his car had Bosches in before. So far it looks like the problems been fixed :)

I had bosches on my car too, i took them out after a year because they caused me to run a bit rich as well.

Bosch O2's = CRAP.
