O2 Sensor wire question!

I can get ahold of a pair of NGK o2 sensors for 45$ shipped, but he stocks only the 1 wire version... I need to know if the one wire version will fit on my 1996 camaro z28..........
If not then what would the one wire version work for?
He told me this fits ALL gm vehicles that have the 1 wire o2 sensor

You've got a 4-wire O2 sensor because you have a heated oxygen sensor. This will not work.

I know the cavaliers and sunfires use one wire O2 sensors...they use the threads as a ground. Some of the older buicks/oldsmobiles have them too (at least in my Olds cutlass with a 3.8 has it and a couple mid 80's buicks I have seen).

Hope this helps

I'm not completely sure, but I THINK they all use the 3-4 wire connectors. Anybody want to jump in and help me out on this one.

'93 Cars had a 1 wire, 94+ have 4 wires.

I have a pair of used 4 wire sensors if you're interested, real cheap.
