#########O2 Problem#######
Heres the deal, a wire melted on the header so it screwed up my driverside O2, I replaced the O2, it would run fine when it was cold or open loop but as soon as it would heat up or closed loop it would break up really bad and have hard trouble running at Low RPM. I then replaced the extension which was the part that melted it, it still doing the same thing!! For now I have been running with the O2 unplugged and it runs fine. Can anyone else figure out this?
Its because your car is a race car
Look at your wires first to see if they are touching anywhere on the header, this is the second time I have had this happen. On my Driverside both times too!! What I did now was run the wire up behind the brake line shield that runs up the firewall.

Hi JucinGTA!
If the wires on your O2 sensors ground out it Blows the O2 sensor which means you will have to buy new ones.
WHy because O2 sensors generate electricity after they warm up and this is done by a chemical reaction of metal's. When these sensors get grounded the little chip inside the sensor separates and the sensor is rendered useless!
If you don't believe me just check and see if it produces any voltage now.
Use a volt meter!
Have a goodone Lee!
