O-ring On Water Pump
I bought o-rings for the water pump but it does'nt look like there is a old o-ring on it.

Ya only thing is it doesnt look like theres a spot for the new o-ring to go on. Theres no lip for it to sit in.

Sure there is. Where the splines stop, on the cover side. Just slide the o-ring over the splines until it pops into the groove.

I cant tell if there is already a black o-ring on there because if you look closely in picture there is something. Or do i just put o-ring over that?

The black looking o-ring is like flush with everything so thats why im thinking its not the o-ring and i just put o-ring over it

Clean out the groove and install the new o-ring. The old o-ring may be smashed flat. They do that.

You were right the o-ring was just smashed. New o-ring is on. Thanks shoebox for the help with all my questions i had today.
Seals and o-rings all got put on.
