Nice datamaster log on my new 383 (city and highway) comments please...

Hey guys, i took a nice long datamaster log of my new 383 around the city and then i took her on the highway. I had her no more then 5000rpms about 2 or 3 times. I am still having a SMALL iac issue, the counts are to high, I am going to redrill another hole in the throttle body. Other the that when i went WOT i got a tps % to high, ill fix that no biggie. I am getting some knock, it has to be false knock from the y-pipe hitting the floor board and/or the Moroso solid motor mounts i have. Anyway, check out my datamaster, tell me what you think, what you see wrong and such. I have it in the datamaster format and in csv for everyone who wants to view it via excel. Thanks guys, post away...

Maybe tell us if you think you have any hiccups? How does it drive?

Also, you are recording too many variables in the csv format. Cut out some of the columns that you don't need. Hard on the eyes and you have to keep scrolling to the top to see what each value is.

And do another datalog after you fix the TPS and false knock issue.

IAC looked alright later in your run so Id leave it alone for now... Id only touch it if the counts were spiking at 160 after the motor warmed up. Biggest "problem" I see is the idle vacuum... 9 inHG isnt enough even at 1000 rpm.

I dont think I have a vac leak, the 9" at idle mite just be a product of the cam, not sure what i can do about that. The rpms do dip below idle when i come to a light, not ANYTHING like in the past when she would dip to like 400rpms and almost die, she dips to about 700ish or so. IAC counts are still kinda high even when warmed up trying to shoot for 50ish or so like everyone said in my last post. As for the false knock, im almost 100% positive its the solid motor mounts and y-pipe being to close to the floor board and hitting. Should I just have the knock sensor disabled? It's advancing the timing like crazy and i kinda dont want that As for the tps issue, yea ill get that fixed, its nothing crazy, the tps sensor is slotted already so no biggie. I guess I just want to get the retard/timing advance issue rectified. Other then that the car runs REALLY good, it has ALOT of power, maybe not as much as i thought, but that could be becuase the timing is being advanced 35+ cus of the false knock. Thanks, and yes i have an LT4 KM :-D
