new maf

I talked to LE this morning and im going to get a le2 package with ported intake he said to get rid of the grannitelli maf i have that i paid $300.00 for because it makes tunning almost imposible my buddy has a 5.0 must he has put a lightning maf in it because it has no limitations. Was wondering if i can use a corvette or ls1 or better, any suggustions would help thank you.

Don't reinvent the wheel, stick with the stock LT-1 maf as there are guys running boosted setups on here putting down over 600-700 on a stock maf. They work perfectly and just a waste of money to go any other route. Also, sell that Granelli on ebay or here and get your money back, LE is right they are a PIA to tune and most tuners will tell you to drop em' and get a stock one.
