Hey BlackBird,

I used to live in GR. Where are you located?

I think a typical LT1 would see anywhere from 20-50 hp gain from those mods. Someone with that actual setup would be a better source of info.

Welcome to the boards!

Well the hot cam kit would be cam, springs, rockers, and your thinking LT headers.

Any other mods? Like a cat back or CAI. Also tuning is needed.

Cool, I have some friends that live near there. Did you (or do you) go to FHN? I graduated from there in '99.

Welcome to the boards. I would guess with the Hotcam kit, the headers, and some other various bolt-ons as well as a good PCM tune, you would be in the 330-350rwhp range.

Re: New to Forums

350 rwhp seams a little high but 330rwhp is a realistic goal with the hot cam kit. If you want to be closer to 350rwhp on the stock heads your going to need a bigger cam along the lines or a cc306 or gm847 which are going to require a better valvetrain than the hotcam kit comes with.
