Great times, are you still full weight? Through in a bigger converter and you'll have 11s for sure.

wow, sorry for the questions but were your dyno numbers with the converter locked or unlocked? They are pretty stout.

When you first installed your engine.. (on stock tune) did it run very well?? Mine feels like a dog and im hoping the tune will fix it..but im not very pleased.. I beat a high 13 second car by a car length a few nights ago.. thats not what I was expecting. Also do you have the LT4 KM?? Something just isnt right here.

Re: New CC306/stock heads times

I already had the CC305 cam and it was tuned for that, so it ran ok. The tune will make it feel like a whole new car.

I do have the LT4 KM

Re: New CC306/stock heads times

people on this board have claimed over 350rwhp with stock heads, stock tune, and cc306 with boltons (I was surprised to hear that). Get it programmed/scanned and see if anything else comes up.

Re: New CC306/stock heads times

Yeah..I have seen those claims as well....car pulls hard in the mid rpms.. and from 30+mph rolls.. get it near redline and I can tell it stops pulling. I figured lighting the tires up would be easy as well but my stock cam setup trapped 103mph and was a lot stronger imho.

Re: New CC306/stock heads times

You guys can correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't everyone that's hitting 350+rwhp on a CC306 and stock heads spinning the motor to around 6700 or 6800? Just thinking about that on my stock bottom end makes me twinge.

Good numbers. It's nice to see the stock headed LT1s still putting up good numbers.
