New camaro lover, exhaust questions
Well I'll openly admit to you guys I have always been a Mustang guy, until here recently. I drove a LT1 camaro and went out and bought a 1994 Z28. And now I looking to build on it. So my real question is, Im used to the mustang exhaust, how does the camaro exhaust work? It looks like you can only have one muffler? Look forward to learning more and making my Z28 and origanal!

You can have dual mufflers but not many go that route. I have a true dual 3" stainless exhaust with xpipe and 2 flowmaster 44's. My pipes run under my axle and I have the flowmaster tilted on an angle. Sounds very good and I fabbed it all up myself(no room for error type fab. I have a double 3" tip on both sides to finish it off. I have roughly 4" ground clearance so it is streetable. I also dont have cats.

I have a dynomax catback on mine and it sounds mean as ****. although I have aftermarket headers. also if your looking for loud, go with some headers while you're at it. they make the lt1's sound so much meaner.

Bought my car with the slp loudmouth, loudest exhaust I personally ever heard. Sounds awesome to me. Loudmouth ll is quieter.
Headers definitely make it sound meaner.

Re: New camaro lover, exhaust questions
I had the SLP loudmouth on my LT1 as well. Untill i got headers.... Then i had to switch to a more tame flowmaster system cause it was TOO loud (cops gave me some warnings). I agree that headers with any system sounds much meaner.
