new best lloyds heads/xe224/230

i finally got a decent time for my setup, my previous best was 13.9 at 106 with a 2.5 sixty foot. changed a fuel pump, invested in some BFG DRs, and found some better weather, and i ran:
60' 2.06
1/8 8.19 mph 89.6
1/4 12.51 mph 115.36
i only got to run once because i dont have a cage yet, i didnt even heat my DR on that more passes. i got to meet atljar and see his 11 second run (stock bottom end, stock heads, NA, full weight) very impressive jared!

Impressive change in your times. Way to go.

How does that cam feel for street driving, especially low end torque?

thanks, my race weight is 3400 without me and i only weigh 140lbs. driveability is great, LOADS of low end torque. i just drove the car over 1000 miles this weekend without any problems. i just wish i could have had a few more runs, i think i could do much better than 12.5 with a trap speed of 115.....

Damn your car is'nt very heavy for a convertible you are lighter than some hard tops... What is your secret...(weight reduction)? My car is about 500# heavier....

Jesse-
Really nice meeting you this weekend. Hope you and blare (hope i spelled that right, but doubting it) had a good time. REALLY sucks edgewater wouldnt let you run again Felt so bad you came all this way to get one pass, but at least it was a pretty good one You will be going 11s soon too, just need a little track time. Congrats once again and talk to you soon.

nice runs man! i was the one in the green z28 down there. it was nice to meet u and glad to hear u guys had a trouble-free ride back home!!!!

that car DEFINATELY has 11' in it!!!! with 115 mph trap in an auto, 11's are definate!!!!! i mean, look at mine, it only trapped 111 and it was running 12.1's!!! just need some track time, good ohio weather and some nice track elevation!!!! actually, u m ay want to invest in some stickier tires. i was running BFG dr's and was only running 12.3's on 1.8 60's.....switched to ET streets n (26x11.5) and ran my 12.1 (1.7 60), with no other changes!!!! wish u woulda gotten to run again, i would have let u use mine. anyway, ive babbled enough. take it easy man, dj.

This goes out to all the doubters out there.....

115mph with that cam and an auto is freakin awesome. Those who doubt Lloyd need to question there sources.
