It was raining real bad last night and I drove through some real flooded roads and my car is lowered, today I start up the car and it is all shaking and backfiring as soon as I put it in D it started to shake and backfire real bad and the idle is higher and real rough it seemed better in N but the whole car is shaking, Do you think this is the opti because it got wet?

yup, sounds like the opti got wet. its happened to me before in another car where i washed my engine and accidentally got water in the distributor. Had to wait till the water evapourated naturally which took almost a full 2 days with my bonnet open in the sun. problem should clear up after the water evapourates by itself.

 

93-94 or 95-97?

 

its a 93 z, is it ok to drive it?
