Need a list.
Need a list.
Ok guys my income tax return is around the corner and I'm trying to gather a COMPLETE list of parts that I will need to do a Scorpion 1.7 rr swap in my car.
So far I have:
1.7 SBC 7/16 Rocker Arms Part # SCP1026 from flatlanderracing.
Where is the cheapest springs I can get that will work for them? (LT4?)
And part #'s for everything else I'll need. Any help is appreciated!

A friend of mine and myself put up a list for this summer.... i don't have it with me, but here's what i do remember:
Scorpion 1.7s for 3/8" stud: $202 (i think the price went up some though)
LT4 springs with locks and retainers: ~$60 from paceparts
New intake/exhaust vavle seals: ~$20 (pace)
16 GM guideplates: ~$20 (pace)
These prices might not be exact, but the total did come out just at $300 without shipping costs. Not sure how much the new studs for the 7/16" are, but i'd guess between 20 and $30
Since most people get around 10-15rwhp with the 1.6s, i'd venture to say that the 1.7s would probably give around 20rwhp or so over the stockers.
