Need Help Quick

How can I tell if my car is a twin or single cat? The guy I bought it from said it was a 96, but when I looked under it I can only see 1 cat. At about midway in the passenger door to exhaust pipes come together and then go to the muffler. Are there any other ways that I can tell if my car is a 96?

the other one is on the drivers side,close to the manifold.It looks kike a big coffee can.
